Who We Are
Hiland Naturals began as a Non-GMO feed company, and as our customers began asking for and wanting their products verified, Hiland Naturals Consulting was born.
It took one and a half years for Hiland Naturals to get Non-GMO verified, and working through that taught us how to speed up the process for our customers.
Since our experience has grown over the years and our relationship with various technical administrators has also increased, our certification process is accomplished in a time-saving manner, allowing completion of projects in mere weeks, rather than months.
We work with International companies that are bringing products that range from ingredients to finished goods, into North America. With our knowledge of the feed and livestock industry, we work exceptionally well on animal-derived products that are brought into the country.
We have a global vision to help our customers acquire Non-GMO status. Our expertise lies in assurance that our customers maintain their verification in an ever-expanding food market that spans North America, Australia, Asia and Europe.
What is the Non-GMO Project?
The Non-GMO Project is dedicated to continued preservation and production of sources of Non-GMO products. Consumer education is a high priority, along with offering proven Non-GMO choices.
The Non-GMO Project offers North America's most recognized third party verification for products produced according to the strictest practices related to GMO avoidance.
All major risk ingredients are tested in each batch before use, and fall below the action threshold of 0.9%.
The Non-GMO Project is a non-profit organization.

What is USDA Organic?
The USDA National Organic Program (NOP) is a regulatory program that is housed within the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service. Our responsibility is to control organically-produced agricultural products in ordinance with national standards.
By controlling these standards, we can assure our consumers that products with the USDA Organic seal will meet in accordance with the high standards of the USDA National Organic Program (NOP).
Food safety or nutrition is not addressed in our regulations.
